CENTO

CENTO stands for Central Treaty Organization.

It was an anti-Soviet alliance involving Britain, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, and Turkey, aimed at limiting communist influence in the Middle East.

CENTO = 中央条约组织

Although the United States was not a full member, it joined CENTO’s military committee.
